AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE FIGURE OF A KORE, CIRCA 525-500 B.C.


standing with feet together, her right hand extended, her left hand grasping a fold of drapery at her hip, and wearing shoes, chiton, and himation falling in zig-zagging folds around the lower body and with both ends draped over the front of the shoulders, bracelets, necklace with three pendants, disk earrings, and pointed cap (tutulus).

Height 15.7 cm.
