A HELLENISTIC MARBLE FIGURE OF APHRODITE, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C.


leaning with the weight on her left leg, her right leg crossed in front of the left, her left arm lowered, her right elbow formerly resting on a pillar(?), and wearing a mantle wrapped loosely around her lower body and left forearm, her head turned to the left, the hair arranged in a top-knot; right arm and foot once restored or carved separately.


Height 63.5 cm.
