AN INSCRIBED BRONZE MOULD OF SIMHANADA LOKESHVARA
TIBET, 15TH – 17TH CENTURY
十五至十七世紀 藏傳銅獅吼觀音擦擦模具
11.8 cm, 4⅝ in.
The inscriptions on this tsa tsa mould, that depict Simhanada Lokeshvara, are two mantras: the first for Lokeshvara and the second for purification:
'om mani padme hum hri om padmo ushnisha vimale hum phat'.
