In 2014, a great bouquet of smoky boysenberries, with all that underlying Mouton cassis. Great, expressive, fresh red and black fruit on the palate. Very plummy and luscious. This is the perfect contrast in vintage style with 1996 - put them together for a really rewarding evening! The collection was housed in a large purpose-built underground cellar with high quality temperature and humidity control. The wines were purchased from two renowned wine merchants, on first release, have never been moved, and the vast majority were kept in stacks in their original wooden cases.
