A PAIR OF FRENCH PÂTE-SUR-PÂTE BLUE-GROUND RECTANGULAR PLAQUES AND AN OVAL GREEN-GROUND PLAQUE, 'LA TOILETTE', BY TAXILE DOAT DATED 1881 AND 1883
each signed in white slip with a TD monogram, the blue-ground pair each decorated in white slip with a Muse and a putto within blue enamel Bérainesque surrounds, the reverse incised taxile Doat/ 1881; the green-ground plaque decorated with flying putti helping a maiden dress, one of the pair and the oval plaque with gilt-metal frames.
