Juliet Capulet was a favourite subject for Dicksee. He exhibited a Romeo and Juliet in 1871 at the Academy but his most famous depictions of her are on the balcony at dawn dreaming about Romeo (Sunderland Art Gallery and the MacManus Galleries in Dundee).
