Oblong folio (340 x 405mm.), disbound, 37 ALBUMEN PRINTS (average 190 x 280mm., or the reverse) by John Thomson, corner mounted on 36 sheets, 6 signed in the negative, each captioned in ink on the mount (one re-mounted on the reverse of one sheet), and 5 other ALBUMEN PRINTS (by Thomson or another photographer) showing a ship in Hong Kong, 2 group photographs (one captioned "Picnic given by [?] E. Deacon, Hong Kong"), and 2 others of Hong Kong, together with a leaf captioned in a later hand "Album of Hongkong & around" and with a mounted photograph (worn) of Millais's painting of a Huguenot, all leaves loose and protected in polyester sleeves, housed in an archival box, some mounts frayed with loss, some photographs detached from mounts with tears at corners, other creases, small tears, fading and wear
