A DUTCH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE LARGE CHARGER, CIRCA 1680-1700
probably a stand for a ewer, painted in Chinese 'Transitional' style with a central boss painted with figures dining at a table within foliate scrollwork reserves, the rim painted with Chinese generals or soldiers at a table with three further figures within an oriental landscape.
