AN ITALIAN GRAND TOUR ROSSO ANTICO MARBLE FIGURE CIRCA 1800
modelled as an Egyptian figure, on a stepped oval white marble base
31.5cm. high, 9cm. wide, 13.5cm. deep; 1ft.¼in., 3½in., 5¼in.
A similar statuette bequeathed by the 7th Duke of Wellington is now in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum (inv. no. A.4-1974).
