The majority of stills distributed were 8 x 10 in. There were also deluxe stills measuring 11 x 14 in., but these oversized stills are the rarest of all stills produced on this title.

This was the final film made in the original Star Wars trilogy, which is now the sixth film, owing to the subsequent prequel trilogy. 

8 stills are each 20 x 16 in. (50.8 x 40.6 cm) and 3 stills are each 16 x 20 in. (40.6 x 50.8 cm)
