A FABERGÉ THREE-COLOUR GOLD-MOUNTED SILVER-GILT AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL TRIPTYCH FRAME, WORKMASTER VICTOR AARNE, ST PETERSBURG, 1899-1903
enamelled in translucent salmon pink over engine-turning emulating moiré silk, decorated with green gold laurel festoons surmounted by pink gold bows, the aperture bezels and hinged panel borders applied with yellow gold, the central panel with a silver-gilt bow, plain polished back, with pink gold hook closure, struck on the bottom of the central panel with the workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard
length opened 16.4cm, 6½in.
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner in Russia or Paris during the 1920s.
