2 volumes, large folio (540 x 435mm.), 108 platinum prints (from 154 x 105mm. to 185 x 240mm., or the reverse), mounted on card, recto only, each volume with elaborate calligraphic manuscript title in pen and ink ("Skizzen aus dem Jägerleben in Oberösterreich und Steiermark nach der Natur aufgenommen von Dr. Federico Mallmann und Carl Srna"), modern red faux leather, gilt metal corner pieces, retaining watered-silk endpapers and backstrips from the original binding by Hermann Scheibe of Vienna, Imperial and Royal bookbinder, mounts spotted and damp-stained, minor scratches and repairs to bindings

A fine collection of hunting scenes in Upper Austria and Styria, with three photographs of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. Also shown is Archduke Franz Salvator of Austria, then married to Archducess Marie Valerie of Austria, the daugther of Franz Joseph and Empress Elizabeth. Other members of the Imperial family and estate staff are also shown. The scenes include portraits, nature, lodge interiors, trophies, and photographs of artworks.
