Size P1/2, inscribed ACM, maker’s mark T. Meade.
Ida Dellamer, ‘The Claddagh Ring’, Irish Arts Review, vol 12, 1996, which mentions the present two rings by Thomas Meade, one ‘marked T.Meade’, and another ‘with the punch “T.M” struck twice’, as being among the four earliest datable rings of the Claddagh type, from around 1700.
