A LOUIS XVI GILT-BRONZE MOUNTED AND PAINTED 'NEUCHÂTELOISE' BRACKET CLOCK, DANIEL-FRANCOIS DROZ DIT BUSSET, LA CHAUX-DE-FONDS, CIRCA 1780


9½-inch enamel dial, the two-train movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, repeat quarter striking on two bells, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, stamped on the backplate DF DB and numbered K2149, the waisted case also stamped to the rear DF DB, and re-painted with flowers on a green ground; together with a matching bracket
