signed, titled, dated dec 63, dedicated and inscribed on the reverse
pencil and oil on board relief on the Artist's backboard in the Artist's wooden inner frame
inner frame: 38.5 by 25.5cm.; 15¼ by 10in.; relief: 21 by 15cm.; 8¼ by 6in.
Gifted by the Artist to Geoffrey and Jane Grigson and thence by descent
Acquired from the above by the previous owner
Their sale, Sotheby's London, 17th November 2004, lot 132, where acquired by the present owner
