Krishna Reddy has written about this work, "I learned the way different tools move on the metal plate. I worked a great deal within the burin and the gouge. I became conscious of the energy of the lines. I made a series of spirals that open up and weave into three graceful shapes.” (K. Reddy, Catalogue Raisonne, Exhibition catalogue, Krishna Reddy: A Retrospective, Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York, 1981, p. 67) Here, subtle and beautiful lines intersect and interconnect, creating a harmonious and delicate composition that reveals Reddy's innovations with line and color.
