THREE GEM-SET STICK PINS

One stickpin set with a cabochon sapphire, accented by old mine and single-cut diamonds, the terminal further accented by single-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered 804, with French assay, workshop and maker's marks; circa 1930; another featuring a pear-shaped ruby accented by old mine and single-cut diamonds; circa 1900, pin later added; and a third stickpin of stylized loop design set with rose-cut diamonds, accented by pear-shaped ruby and pear-shaped diamond drops, partially numbered 736, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1910.

First stickpin: In good condition, with minor scratches and discoloration to a few areas, commensurate with age. With French assay marks for 18 karat gold and platinum. The sapphire is deep blue, heavily included. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.20 carat are approximately H-J color, SI clarity. Length measuring approximately 2 inches.

Second stickpin: In good condition, with minor scratches to the metal commensurate with age. Metal tests at 14 karat gold. With evidence of repair on the reverse where pin attaches to top element, the pin later added. The old mine and single-cut diamonds of decorative quality. The ruby, weighing approximately 0.65 carat is a deep, strongly purplish red, moderately included. Length measuring approximately 2⅝ inches.

Third stickpin: In good condition, with minor scratches and discoloration to the metal commensurate with age. With French assay mark for 18 karat gold. Metal also tests as platinum. The rose-cut diamonds of decorative quality, the pear-shaped diamond weighing approximately 0.20 carat, is approximately H-J color, SI-I clarity. The ruby is medium strongly purplish red.
