4to (238 x 184mm.), copy no. 4 of a limited edition of 80 copies, aquatints and illustrations by Legrand, crushed brown morocco gilt with coloured onlays by Joly fils, with holly, thistle and skull motifs, spine similarly decorated, top edge gilt, other uncut, decorated fabric endleaves, slipcase, original printed wrappers bound in


The illustrations by Legrand were designed for texts by Baudelaire, Mallarmé, Rimbaud, Gautier, Verlaine and others.
