A RARE STARFISH FOSSIL
ERFOUD, MOROCCO
Petraster crozonensis, (fossil: 12 x 11.5 cm, 24.5 x 15 cm in matrix), Ordovician (485-443 million years ago). Beautiful fossilization in orange calcite, presented on a custom stand.
A beautiful example of an Ordovician starfish, of which very few examples are found in private collections.
