Full brown calf, covers ruled in blind, edges speckled red, contemporary annotations to front free endpaper; overall rubbed, corners bumped, loss to upper corner of lower board, loss to head of spine, later annotations to final endpaper.  

First edition. A treatise on the supposed original language spoken by Adam and Eve, by the architect John Webb, a pupil of Inigo Jones.
