4 vols. 8vo. Folding map of Concord (Summer), publisher's advertisement at end (Winter); minor toning. Uniformly bound in original green cloth over bevelled boards, upper covers and spines gilt-lettered, top edges gilt, black coated endpapers; minor rubbing to extremities and one or two endpapers. Together in custom slipcase.
Four first editions — a bright set of Thoreau's "seasons," taken from his journals, and edited by H.G.O. Blake, a friend of the author's.
