[with:] Frederick, Lord North, autograph letter signed, to "My dear Lord", advising that a new Keeper of the State Papers should be chosen who has no interest in the work of the office ("...The arrangement of them is in the hands of Sir Joseph Ayloffe & Mr [Thomas] Astle. They have executed their business in a very meritorious manner, & have done much good. If any Keeper should be appointed who should take upon himself to interfere in the care of the State papers, much confusion would probably be the consequence..."), 2 pages, 4to, Bushy Park, [December 1773-May 1774]; [also with:] document signed by Richard Smalbroke, Bishop of Lichfield, appointing William Greenwood rector of Solihull, 1 vellum membrane, pendant papered seal, 9 August 1739
