the first to Mr Wilde, regretting the closure of his Scouting Branch at Blackley school especially as he had hoped "to allow some foreign school teachers to come and study your methods of applying scouting to the school training"; the second to Spurling, enquiring whether the closure of the Blackley scheme was the fault of the scouts ("...If this was the case I should be anxious to amend our scheme in such a way as to bring it in favour again..."); the third to Gaddwin, further regretting closure of the experimental scheme at Blackley; in pencil, altogether 2 pages, 8vo, n.d., punch-hole in upper left
