height overall 45 ¼ in.; 115 cm.
Batacchi is recorded in Alfonso Panzetta (op. cit. vol I, p. 77), as being active in Florence in the latter part of the 19th century. He worked principally with female models, often depicting allegorical subjects, rendering works with great elegance and sensuality.
