Description
Inspired by the brand's 1940s chronographs, this Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope is capable of measuring elapsed time, speed, distance, and heart rate. Like most Speedmasters, the tachymetric scale is on the watch's anodized aluminum bezel, though the scales for the telemeter and pulsometer reside in the center of the silver dial. The additional inner base scale in red further extends the tachymeter's range down to 20 units. Powered by Omega's METAS certified caliber 9908, the timepiece also features the iconic co-axial escapement and a silicon balance which offer reduced friction, greater accuracy, and high resistance to magnetism. A true feat of engineering, the present model is a must-have for any chronograph collector or enthusiast.
