A signed photographic portrait of King Faisal of Saudi Arabia (1906-1975), known for his policy of modernization and reform, mounted with the original printed compliments card.
- Riyadh, circa 1970.
- Silver gelatin print of the king seated, half-length, looking into the camera.
- Signed in blue pen to lower white margin.
- Tipped-in to original white folding card, cover embossed with the emblem of Saudi Arabia, with a palm tree and two crossed swords.
- Mounted together with a printed compliments card, within single gilt fillet borders, the original postally used manila envelope in sleeve to verso.
