Description
In 1917, brothers Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup made a decision to become watchmakers. Their humble atelier was located in a converted part of their parents’ home in the village of Lengnau, Switzerland. Through their relentless energy and uncanny ability to spot new opportunities, Schlup & Co. got off to a promising start, signing agreements with a wide array of importers around the world. By the end of World War II, the factory was among the largest producers of watch movements, its name synonymous with Swiss-made quality. This laid the ground for the brothers’ next big adventure – the launch of their own watch brand. Enter Rado.
Rado has always made watches that are built to last – not just for a few years, but for a lifetime. They care to use materials that are proven to resist wear and tear. High-tech ceramic cases and bracelets, Ceramos, sapphire crystal, stainless steel and bronze all serve to enclose and protect the sophisticated Swiss movements that power their watches. This Diamaster reference R14044907 is a ceramic automatic wristwatch with date, circa 2017, white ceramic case and bracelet, white mother-of-pearl dial with silver-tone hands and 8-piece diamond indexes in total 0.052 carats. Date display at the 6 o'clock position. Automatic movement ETA caliber 2681. Water resistant approximately 30 meters. Case diameter in 33 mm. This watch comes with paper and box.
