Light plus rubbing and early signs to cracking to front joint.

Text block with light plus age toning, scattered staining and scattered ink marks.

Minor insect damage to final third of text block lower margin, not impacting text or legibility.

Title page edges reinforced with paper carefully trimmed to follow contours of decorative border.

Ownership inscription on verso of title page covered over with another narrow strip of paper pasted on.

Leaves married into this copy from another edition are out of signature, with page numbers corrected by hand and duplicated text from preceding and subsequent pages marked in ink by hand.

Repairs to lower margins of all married-in leaves and to final leaf.
