Description

The present watch is a very nicely preserved example of a classic openface dresswatch made by Patek Philippe. The case is in very nice original condition and the dial retains a beautifully raised signature in hard enamel.

The hard enamel signature is nicely raised. There is some very minor spotting on the outer minute track but this is minor. The indexes with minor oxidation. The case is well preserved with good hallmarks and stepped bezel. The case back with monogram that reads PBL and dated 17.10.1955. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
