Description

The Patek Philippe Nautilus was introduced in 1976 and has been proved resilient during the quartz crisis and remains highly sought after today. The initial Nautilus model was the 3700 and was manufactured until 1998. Due to its larger-than-average case size at the time, collectors affectionately refer to it as the "Jumbo." The Nautilus 3700/11 is considered a classic and highly sought-after model among collectors, partly due to its association with the renowned designer Gérald Genta, who was responsible for its design. It was the first sports watch to be produced by Patek Philippe and was initially met with some skepticism due to its unconventional design. However, it has since become one of the most iconic and recognizable luxury watches in the world.
