  • Octavo.
  • First volume with frontis portrait of Burns engraved by W. C. Edwards from an original painting by Alexander Nasmyth, and extra illustrated title page engraved by R. Brandard from a drawing by T. Stothard. 
  • Bound in full tan calf, gilt and blind-tooled boards, raised bands, brown morocco labels and gilt lettering on spine, gilt dentelles, and marbled endpapers.
