Description
Rolex introduced the Datejust 16014 in 1977 and remained in production until 1988. The watch incorporated the Rolex caliber 3035 movement, which was the first Datejust movement to have featured the quick date change. The movement also, for the first time, had a hacking feature, which stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out the adjust the time.
Condition Report
The watch is in overall good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Caseback has signs minimal nicks. Bracelet and buckle has signs of stretch and minor scratches. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
