Description

Benedetto Boschetti (Italian, 1820-1879).


Benedetto Boschetti was born in 1820. Boschetti was an Italian sculptor renowned for the exceptional quality of his work. Boschetti works of art were of very high quality to satisfy the academic and sophisticated tastes of young English people on the Grand Tour. Among Boschetti's most famous works are a mosaic table in the Gilbert Collection in London and the beautiful reductions of the Warwick vase in rosso antico now in the Toledo Museum, Ohio. Benedetto Boschetti passed away in 1879.
