French Rococo-style mantle clock.

  • Gilt bronze clock atop marble base.
  • Marble base adorned with fleur-de-lis mounted on rose quartz plaques.
  • Clock face supported by seated gentleman holding an apple.
  • "Denis PaPin. Vapeur" written on clock tag.

Minor wear to seated figure, especially on his lap and top of head.

Minor scratches and marks to rear of marble base as well as the front.

The base has lost much of its gilding in the area beneath the raised marble base.

Loss of ornament to left handle.

Wear to gilding on clock as well as wear to clock face.

Clock was not tested to be in working order.
