Condition
Overall condition consistent with age and use. The metal surfaces with general losses to the paint throughout, surface scratches and minor oxidation, visible on the catalogue illustration and consistent with age and use. The wood elements are original and presents with surface scratches, surface soiling and abrasions, light wear to the varnish coating to the edges, consistent with use. The top of the desk with concentrated wear and surface scratches, a more pronounced scratch running from top to bottom of the top and dividing the top in two, and a stable hairline crack radiating from the proper right inkwell to the far left pencil rest. The seat and back rest with wear and minor discoloration, the front edge of each seat with a minor loss to the wood, the largest measuring 1/2 inch in length. A very good example of the model which appears in original condition.
