Condition

Overall very good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor nicks, scuffs and scratches, consistent with age and gentle use. The proper right front edge with a series of very small/shallow dents, only visible upon close inspection. The proper left front edge with a small scuff to the figured edge. The pandanus cloth with a minor loss and light wear to the weave at the bottom edge of one panel (central panel in the catalogue illustration). Overall a classic example of George Nakashima's restrained and elegant design, the top presents with a light undulation to the board, accented with darker peg joints.
