Condition
Overall excellent original condition. Each candlestick with minor surface scratches and scuffs to the steel and brass surfaces. The candlestick numbered 36 with one small area of oxidation to the steel on the top of the plate near the front edge. One of the brass flame decorations with some small discolorations, including a small drip stain measuring approximately 1 inch long. This pair epitomizes Paley’s design work and was originally commissioned by the American Ballet Theater in New York.
