- 9.8 cm, 3 7/8 in.
finely potted with steep sides rising from a flat base to a flared rim raised on a tall hollow splayed stem foot, the exterior painted in various cobalt tones with eight lança characters, each above a stylised lotus bloom borne on leafy tendrils bearing curled acanthus leaves, the underside with a band of petal lappets, the splayed foot detailed with ruyi-heads suspending interlinked tassels beneath a raised rib of stylised flowers and leaves, the interior well with an intricate flowerhead within a double-line border repeated at the rim, the underside of the foot with a six-character seal mark written in a horizontal line
