  • 17.2 cm, 6 3/4  in.
the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently flaring rim, the exterior vibrantly decorated with two iron-red five-clawed dragons striding amidst underglaze-blue ruyi clouds and iron-red flames, the interior centre with a similar dragon medallion encircling a pearl within a double circle, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

Overall good condition except for a shallow retouched flake of approx. 0.4 cm to the mouthrim. There is also some typical wear especially to the interior, as well as a short firing line to the cavetto.
