Description

  • 14.4 cm, 5 5/8  in.
of quatrefoil form raised on four short bracket feet heightened in iron red, the interior centre vividly decorated in bright enamels with a flowerhead encircled by four lotus blossoms and buds borne on scrolling branches interlocked by ruyi heads, the interior and exterior walls similarly enamelled with scrolling floral sprays, all divided by a gilt border and reserved on a rich lime-green ground continuing over the base save for an iron-red six-character seal mark against a white cartouche

Good condition with just two minute nicks to the rim and insignificant wear to the enamels.
