Description
- 27.5 cm, 10 5/8 in.
well potted with gently rounded sides rising from a short foot, the interior with a central medallion within a double-line border in underglaze blue, delicately enamelled with stylised honeysuckles rendered in neatly arranged scrolls, the exterior with a pair of honeysuckles and two further pair of stylised flowers alternating with leafy tendrils suspending trefoils, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark within a double circle
Provenance
An English banking family collection, acquired prior to World War II.
Condition
There is polishing to the rim to conceal fritting. There is minor surface wear and scratching.
