Description

  • 27.5 cm, 10 3/4  in.
the U-shaped body raised on a flaring hollow foot, surmounted by a domed cover set with a rope-twist knob, moulded in shallow relief around the sides with archaistic patterns, covered overall with a rich blue glaze, the interior of the cover and foot each with a raised six-character seal mark

The Spittle family collection, Suffolk.

Condition

The vessel and cover are in very good condition with just a minor kiln grit to the foot.
