This work is in fair condition overall. There is evidence of handling and wear along the edges and all four corners, especially at the top right and lower left corners which have scattered paint losses running 6 inches along either edge from the corners. Further close inspection reveals scattered scuffs and abrasions to the edges as well as impressions left by packing materials in the areas surrounding all four edges, particularly on the left and right vertical registers. There are several scattered linear raised areas which are painted over and are inherent to the artist's process and working method. Further close inspection reveals scattered linear surface scratches throughout that manifest as indentations and not as losses to the pigment. The canvas is slack on the stretcher and there is buckling visible on some of the edges. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
