- d. 11.8 cm, 4 5/8 in.
finely potted and supported on a tall cylindrical footring, flaring to a wide curved dish, surmounted by a small globular cup, applied overall in a lustrous black glaze with a slight russet tinge
Condition
The inner mouthrim with a minor flake and a very shallow chip, the chip approx. 0.5 x 0.3 cm. The dish with a small area of overspray to the rim under UV light, approx. 5.5 x 1.5 cm. An extremely faint hairline crack to the foot approx. 2.3 cm. Minor typical firing imperfections and general surface wear.
