Description

  • 18.5 cm, 7 1/4  in.
the shallow sides rising from a short foot to a wide everted rim, covered overall save for the foot with a milky-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the edges and liberally decorated with small purple splashes on the exterior, the unglazed foot revealing the grey body burnt brownish-orange in the firing

Condition

Some sanding residue to the glazed surface. A faint hairline running from the rim to the centre. General surface wear and firing imperfections such as glaze crackles and kiln chips caused by spur marks on the base.
