Catalogue Note
THE LIECHTENSTEIN-PLESCH COPY, with fine Viennese plates. Schmidt states in his preface that all the drawings are from nature and that he has used “der besten Künstler, deren Werthman scho aus Jacquins unsterbliche Werken kennt” (p.4). The final volume was edited posthumously by L. Trattinick.
