Condition
Watercolour over pencil on a thick, wove paper. The artist's sheet has been affixed to a backing board thus preventing full inspection of the reverse. The sheet is somewhat time stained with very light mat stains visible along the lower and left edge, covered by the mount. The medium is in very good condition. Colours are strong and vibrant. This work is ready to hang. Presented glazed and framed.

Catalogue Note
Often confused with the Dome of the Rock, including by Haag, the Mosque of Omar referred to in his inscription is a far more modest structure located elsewhere in the Old City of Jerusalem, opposite the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
