Provenance

Chateau of Pontchartrain, Jouars-Pontchartrain.

Condition

Surface dirt, notably in the crevices, and a few minor chips to the high points in some places. Some inclusion and natural grey veining are visible throughout the marble. There are a few larger inclusions with fillings visible in some places. A vertical red stain is visible between her buttocks. Chips are visible along the edges of the base, notably the lower edge, with a few small losses and a larger one to the front as visible in the catalogue.
