  • female saint: 53 x 36 x 16 cm, 20 3/4 x 14 1/8 x 6 1/4 in. ; male saint: 50 x 38 x 18 cm, 19 2/8 x 15 x 7 in.
polychromed and gilt wood the bust of the female saint entitled S. TEODORAthe bust of the male saint with a partly legible inscrition in ink to the back, dated 1873, by the restorer Giovanni Ventura

Condition

- Saint Theodora: In overall good condition with non-active worming, mainly to the lower edge of the base (notably to the front and to the back). A few vertical splits are visible in some places consistent with the material. There are some minor losses to the polychromy and chips to the high points in some places. - Male Saint: The bust is slightly loose on its base. There are minor losses due to worming and chips, notably to the high points. There is some wear to the polychromy which appears to have been refreshed.
