Condition
Box 1 : There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are some losses to the ivory and ebony marquetry, especially to the edges of the base and one element to the lid. The casket had previously four feet which are now missing. There is a construction crack inside the lid and to the bottom wood plate. Box 2 : The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. The are some restorations to the ivory, especially to the edges with replaced elements and painting. One ivory edge is missing. One wooden strip of the inside is missing. The key is missing. The book cover: The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There is one crack to the front (approx. 20 cm.). There are some losses to the inlaid elements. There is one accident near one upper hinge of the spine, with losses.
